An average day in TexPREP is from 5-6 hours, plus homework. All classes meet for an hour a day Monday through Thursday, and, if needed, on Fridays. Field trips, special events, demonstrations, and competitions are typically scheduled on Fridays.
Since each site has their own operating hours, please contact the site directly, or contact the Central Office at 210-458-2060 for the specific operating hours.

Yes, instructions on this process will be made available in May.
Please keep in mind that the availability of the various sites is subject to change at any time. Also, keep in mind that some of the sites have limited capacity, and we have to make the site assignments on a “first come, first served” basis established by the date of receipt of the complete and signed application. Once the assigned capacity of a site is reached, we use a combination of the secondary choice and/or the physical location of the student’s home address to make the site assignment.
